Job DescriptionEmbry-Riddle Aeronautical University has an ambitious agenda forthe next five years, focused on expanding its researchcapabilities, graduate programs, and facilities and recruitinghighly-talented faculty. The University strives to expand itspresence in aerospace and aviation research and to be recognizedglobally in select signature areas while growing itsdiscovery-driven undergraduate programs. In support of this agenda,multiple Presidential Fellow positions will be filled.Presidential Fellows will hold a Distinguished Faculty position inone of the Colleges across the three campuses in Daytona Beach,Prescott, or Worldwide. The appointments come with tenure and willbe available as early as January 2021.The University invites nationally renowned candidates in the areasof Aviation Cyber Security, Aviation Data Science and BusinessAnalytics, Flight Research, Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) andAutonomous Systems to apply. Candidates for these positions areexpected to have an exemplary record of sustained funded research,supervision of doctoral students, an excellent publication record,and experience in building new research programs and leading majorlabs or centers.QualificationsCandidates should have an earned terminal degree in a related fieldand have the credentials for Associate or Full Professor rank.Women and underrepresented minorities are especially encouraged toapply.Candidates must specify a preferred home department, college, andcampus as well as any desired joint appointment.
