But as Deaton got her 15th kill in the beginning of the third set, she went down with a potential knee injury. The Horned Frogs continued to lead most of the third set after Deaton’s exit from the court, but fell short to the Sooners 21-25.“Oklahoma had a really good night offensively and we just needed to take care of the ball more in serving and passing,” Kramer said. “That is the name of the game usually and we needed to be better at the service line and we needed to be better at first ball contacts.”The Frogs had only one service ace and five service errors during the match. The team’s serve receive was also off; many passes were behind the 10-foot line, which made it hard for the setters to feed the ball to anyone besides their outside hitters.“We will get in the gym and we will keep improving,” Kramer said. “That was really it tonight – first ball contacts and defense.”The Frogs will finish their first half of conference play in Ames, Iowa against Iowa State on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 1 p.m. Linkedin Volleyball had their largest crowd of the season, which required many fans to stand for the match.
