According to reports Harris was visibly relieved when his name was the first to be announced as a finalist. In an interview with the show’s host Dermott O’Leary after the results were announced, Harris said, “It’s a dream come true and nothing stops you but yourself… I’m so grateful for the encouragement that you guys have given me, and I’m here.” Harris’s popularity going into the finals can also be seen on the iTunes Top 100 charts, as two of the studio recordings of songs he has performed on the show are charting. We talk everyday, and I know how much he is driven, so I had no doubt from the beginning that he would put in the work in order to get out of this competition what he wants for himself. So, seeing him make it to the finals was just a fulfilment of what I know he set out to do.”In 2010, emerged on the Jamaican music scene when he won Digicel Rising Stars at 16 years old.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Italian giants AC Milan, Marco Fassone has revealed that the club’s priority before the end of the transfer window is to sign a top striker.Fassone made this known during an event organised by club president Yonghong Li in China. He took the stage to talk elaborately about AC Milan under the new owners. The Milan squad is presently in China for friendly matches against German sides Borussia Dortmund on July 18 and Bayern Munich on July 22, but they found time out from training to attend the aforementioned event earlier today.AC Milan has undoubtedly been the talk of the current transfer window after the club splashed out the sum of over €200m on transfers.Speaking on transfers including the sensational signing of Bonucci and striking targets, Fassone said: “The signing of Bonucci? I was very skeptical. It was a crazy idea that I didn’t even want to try, but then Montella told us to continue pushing. We went forward and we closed the deal rapidly and quickly. It’s a very important sign to see that now players in Champions League clubs want to join us.“Bonucci’s arrival is a signal for the future. Leo is a warrior and a leader who will give us a great deal, both on and off the field. If it was easier to deal with Claudio Lotito [for Biglia] or with Beppe Marotta [for Bonucci]? With Lotito it’s always more complicated to negotiate. You must always take it in good spirits because he’s one that takes the last drop of sweat from you to close a deal.“The budget for the market? Fortunately, we are in China now and can therefore discuss with the owners what our resources are, because they are not unlimited. We must also work things out with the Coach, because the next two friendlies can give some indications to him and Mirabelli.“A striker? When we return to Italy, we will get on the right path. We’re keeping all our options open and will certainly do something beautiful. Many names have been mentioned of very strong strikers. It’d be nice to have one from Belotti, Morata and Aubameyang. We’ll see who the choice lands on, although there are also other names who haven’t emerged in the media yet.“Evidently, we are still thinking of doing something in that position.” The transfer market is still long and Milan now have a few more days in China to focus on football before the madness returns.” he concluded.RelatedMilan CEO Expresses Serious Doubts Over League TitleJuly 21, 2017In “Europe”Bank Rebuffs Milan Guarantees To Put Bonucci, Biglia Transfers In LimboAugust 3, 2017In “Europe”Quality Striker Search: Milan Meet ‘Super Agent’ MendesJuly 26, 2017In “Europe”
Premier League champions Chelsea endured a nightmare start to their title defense, losing 3-2 at home to Burnley on Matchday 1 in the league. It was a first ever Premier League win for Burnley over the Blues, and more memorable they achieved the landmark feat at the backyard of the champions. It all started wrongly for Chelsea when Captain Gary Cahill failed to lead by example, getting himself needlessly sent off for a dangerous challenge on Steven Defour inside the opening quarter of an hour.Cesc Fabregas soon took the walk of shame in the second half after two yellow cards, but it must be said that the Spanish midfielder set himself up by sarcastically applauding the referee which earned him his first yellow card.David Luiz, Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger all appeared to lose their heads during the game, an indication that all isn’t well within the ranks of the Blues. Those images brought back memories of the opening day draw two seasons ago against Swansea City at the Bridge, coincidentally the first game of a title defense which saw Jose Mourinho having a go at the club doctor at that time, Eva Carneiro. The game also saw Oscar refuse to celebrate his opening strike, as he was presumed to be unhappy about the ongoing behind the scene. It is needless to say it was a disastrous campaign for Chelsea that year, as they set all the negative records of a start to a season by the defending champions. Mourinho like Antonio Conte had just signed a new contract extension after the league triumph but was shown the exit door only four months into the new campaign.Chelsea also became the first UEFA Champions League holders to be knocked out in the group phase of the competition in 2012, another example of a wobbling and fumbling start to life as defending champions of a competition, championship. The big question now is, are Chelsea jinxed whenever they win a major title? From the above analysis, it is an indication that the Blues might suffer a similar fate to what happened to them two seasons ago. The team looks disoriented and very lightweight on the bench even with the full complement of the galaxy of stars.Conte made a huge tactical blunder on Saturday following Cahill’s sending off. He took out Jeremie Boga for Andreas Christensen whose pace, and physicality would have troubled Stephen Ward. Retaining his tried and trusted 3-man defense line after going down to 10-men was a wrong move. Christensen came on and slotted intoChristensen came on and slotted into defense alongside Luiz and Rudiger, yet the team conceded three goals, hence the substitution was a failed one. A more attack minded 4-4-1 formation which would have seen Willian and Boga providing adequate support to the isolated Michy Batshuayi in attack would have been more ideal.Chelsea and Conte must desperately try to move on from the opening day setback, though the Blues have become only the second ever defending champions to lose on the opening day of a new season. The first team was Leicester City who lost while been managed coincidentally by another Italian manager Claudio Ranieri, who was also a former Chelsea employee.Hopefully, all these signs should add up to nothing, as the Chelsea have more than enough time on their hands, to avoid a deja vu from the past.RelatedPremier League Review: Chelsea Return To Winning Ways As Barnes Strikes Late To Take Burnley Into The Top FourDecember 13, 2017In “England”Premier League 2020-21 Fixtures: Battle of Nigerians On Opening WeekendAugust 20, 2020In “England”Hazard’s Condition Worries SarriOctober 24, 2018In “Europa League”

Related Articles Aspire builds Q1 momentum through regulated market focus May 5, 2020 Mr Green has today announced the launch of its predictive Green Gaming tool, which is first set to hit the United Kingdom market before being rolled out to others later in the year. The tool will hand players an insight into their own risk behaviour, with it’s functionality also allowing Mr Green itself to detect when healthy playing has moved into the risk zone. Jesper Kärrbrink, CEO of Mr Green, said: “Green Gaming has been part of our business strategy since the foundation (in) 2007. We have high ambitions, we want to drive the future for responsible gaming and want to be the brand you associate with Green Gaming.“With Green Gaming we will be able to support our players making better decisions when playing. Gaming should be fun, entertaining and safe. Green Gaming is all about staying in control, not crossing the line between enjoyment and risky behaviour.”This new tool analyses a customer’s playing behaviour and combines it with the customer’s own impressions of their risk behaviours. In turn this means players can receive personal insights and analysis about their gaming and when they have gone too fast. Mr Green can also use this to adjust its offerings and communications to customers based on their risk behaviour, with those demonstrating increased risk behaviour possibly being asked to set different limits for their playing or to take a step back for a period of time. The online gaming company would also cease sending sales message to those customers with increased risk behaviours. At its introduction the new Green Gaming tool has a casino model, with a sportsbook model planned for later implementation.
