first_img TAGSfetauredHi-Way Bar and Restaurantlimerick Facebook Limerick Ladies National Football League opener to be streamed live NewsHi-Way Bar Limerick operators win court battle to stay tradingBy Staff Reporter – January 12, 2017 3419 Limerick Artist ‘Willzee’ releases new Music Video – “A Dream of Peace” RELATED ARTICLESMORE FROM AUTHOR Hi Way bar and restaurant in Limerick THE operators of Limerick’s Hi-Way Bar and Restaurant have been allowed continue trading after a judge refused an application by bank receivers KPMG to have the property vacated for sale because of a €78,000 debt.Details of the case were heard before Limerick Civil Circuit Court where Pat Barriscale BL, counsel for for the bar operators, Turn Key Outlet Ltd, objected to KPMG’s application to send the case to the High Court finalisation.Sign up for the weekly Limerick Post newsletter Sign Up Counsel for KPMG Emer Meeneghan BL said they were owed €78,000 and wanted possession of the property to sell it.In 2006, the 6,815sq property was sold for €3 million and in 2010, Turn Key took over the running of the premises after the previous owners fell into financial difficulty.  Receivers were appointed by the bank and KPMG took ownership of the building, while Turn Key renewed the liquor licence.The Turn Key directors agreed to pay €4,666 a month in rent but this was later reduced to €2,500 to help the business recover. The rent was paid every month and the business was trading continuously.In 2013, the property was put up for sale for €875,000 by DTZ Sherry Fitzgerald.At last Tuesday’s sitting of the Circuit Court,Turn Key objected to the case being sent to the High Court by County Registrar Pat Wallace last year.Proceedings were issued by the receiver in 2015 but there was an error in the draft papers regarding the rateable valuation of the property.Ms Meeneghan admitted that this was an oversight and accepted the court did not have the jurisdiction to deal with the case.Judge Keys said that the bar/restaurant operators had to succeed in the case and that lawyers for the receiver should have issued the proceedings in the correct court.The matter was struck out allowing Turn Key Outlet to continue trading.As members of the Anti Eviction task force who were in the public gallery applauded the ruling, Judge Keys said “there is no need for that”.Addressing counsel for KPMG, Judge Keys said “if you want to come in to this court you have to understand the jurisdiction limits and therefore I am refusing to transfer this case to the High Court and striking the proceedings out.The Hi-Way was opened in 1970 by the Campbell family who developed the site over a number of years. It became popular destination for politicians from Kerry and Cork en route from Leinster House, as it remained open until after 3am. first_img July 31, 2020 Los datos del panel muestran aumentos semanales de casos de COVID en todo el estado, múltiples condados con altos porcentajes positivos Español,  Prison Reform El Gobernador Tom Wolf dio a conocer hoy una actualización de la situación semanal que detalla las medidas de mitigación del estado basadas en el Panel de control del sistema de monitoreo de advertencia temprana de COVID-19 que compara el período de siete días del 24 de julio al 30 de julio con los siete días anteriores, del 17 de julio al 23 de julio.El panel está diseñado para proporcionar signos tempranos de advertencia sobre los factores que afectan las medidas de mitigación del estado. La información disponible en el panel incluye las diferencias de casos semana a semana, las tasas de incidencia, el porcentaje de pruebas positivas y las tasas de hospitalizaciones, el uso de respiradores y las visitas a las salas de emergencias vinculadas a la COVID-19.“Las medidas de mitigación que tomamos el 15 de julio fueron un paso proactivo para afrontar el aumento de casos que continuamos viendo”, dijo el Gobernador Wolf. “Nuestro porcentaje de positividad disminuyó esta semana, lo cual es un signo positivo, pero para continuar viendo la disminución de los casos, debemos seguir usando máscaras y practicando el distanciamiento social.“Salir sin máscara y reunirse en un bar o asistir una fiesta en un patio trasero lleno de personas que no practican el distanciamiento social continúa aumentando el número de casos. Necesitamos volver a comprometernos con estas simples medidas para detener la propagación y volver a gozar de más libertades”.Hasta el jueves 30 de julio, el estado vio un incremento de 6,228 casos en siete días. El aumento de los siete días previos fue de 6,010. Esta situación alerta que los casos continúan en ascenso en todo el estado.El porcentaje de positividad en todo el estado bajó al 4.6% respecto del 4.7% de la semana anterior. Los condados con porcentajes de positividad preocupantes incluyen (7.4%), Franklin (7.2%), Indiana (7.2%), Fayette (7.1%), Armstrong (7.0%), Beaver (6.5%), Delaware (6.5%), Allegheny (6.4%), Lancaster (5.8%), Berks (5.6%), Philadelphia (5.4%) y Chester (5.3%). NOCPPO reboots COVID contact tracing team

They are joined by personnel from the ProvincialIntelligence Unit and police nurses assigned at NOCPPO headquarters.The team is coordinating closely with the Provincial Health Office for themaximum and timely sharing of information.All city and municipal police stations in this province are also tasked toorganize their own contract tracing teams. As of April 26, Negros Occidental has four confirmed COVID-19 cases.Patient No. 1, a 41-year-old woman from E.B. Magalona town has already recovered,while Patient No. 2, a 43-year-old man from La Castellana town, is currentlyunder quarantine at a patient care center. Patient No. 3 is a 38-year-old man who traveled from The Netherlands andarrived in the country on March 24. He is a resident of Silay City.Patient No. 4, a 41-year-old man, arrived in the country from Finland on March17.
