This will also be the first-ever day-night Test in South Africa.A minimum of 98 overs will be played on each day and a first-innings lead of 150 will be enough to enforce the follow-on in the day-night fixture in Port Elizabeth. Play will also be extended for an extra 30 minutes to accommodate the additional eight overs.advertisementCurrently, a minimum of 90 overs must be bowled per day during a five-day Test affair and a first-innings lead of 200 is required to enforce the follow-on.The Test is a warm-up for the Proteas’ three-match home series against India in January and then four against Australia in March and April.The historic Test will act as a warm-up for the Proteas, who will host India for a three-match Test series, followed by six ODIs and three T20Is.
